Birdies & Beaches is, before anything else, a family business. Dorian and Jessica Spencer launched it in 2026 after twenty years of Navy life and a corporate chapter that paid the bills but didn't quite light them up. They wanted something they owned together. Something that fit a SoCal Saturday. Something they'd actually pay for if someone else were running it.
A premium mobile golf simulator was the answer that kept making sense. It combines the parts of military hospitality that work — show up early, sweat the details, treat every guest like they came to see you — with the parts of San Diego living that work — keep it warm, keep it casual, keep the kids included. Tour-grade equipment. No country-club attitude.
Today, Birdies & Beaches operates across San Diego County — from backyard birthdays in Carmel Valley to corporate kickoffs in Sorrento Valley to welcome events at the Hotel del. Over the next three years, we plan to license the Birdies & Beaches playbook to other veteran-owned operators — so families in Orange County, LA, and Scottsdale can run their own canopy-and-cooler operation under the same brand and the same values.
If we couldn't deliver on all four, we wouldn't be doing this.
Our team arrives 60 minutes before your guests do — never the other way around. We break down quietly after the last ball is struck and leave the space exactly as we found it.
Kids, grandparents, first-timers, scratch golfers — everyone gets a fair shot at the tee, a lefty club if they need one, and a host who's actively rooting for them.

We hire San Diego veterans whenever we can, source from San Diego suppliers when we have a choice, and give 15% off to active military and first responders on every package, every time.

The other half of the family business. Jessica brings the warmth, the planning, and the small-detail thinking — custom signage, welcome touches, personal follow-ups — that turn a one-time booking into a returning customer.
For larger events, we bring on additional certified hosts from our San Diego network. Every one of them has run at least 20 events with us.
Whether your event is six guests on a Tuesday or three hundred guests at a Saturday gala, our job is the same: build the kind of afternoon people text each other about for weeks afterward.
